When I read it I never put it down. When she zones out, I sometimes find myself suddenly in a memory or fantasy of hers, only to be just as suddenly back in the present when someone or something recaptures her attention.

Uninterested, taking out a chapstick. I find it cute how she’s so hopelessly innocent and needs a boy’s ikssing to help her lift her spirit of winter romance. It was the first romance book I’ve ever read. I did not find the plot interesting and at all a tiny bit realisticeven though it was fiction.

She is a typical teenage girl fighting the struggles of her family and friends. The story line was good, but the way it was written did not execute the story. What really bugged me was how she either very naive or held grudges the entire time. Obviously, Samantha is less-than-thrilled to get to know her new stepmom, but sees the trip as an opportunity to get over her ex-boyfriend and meet cute boys.
